I am looking for information about where/how I can become a licensed Surveyor in Hawaii. I have a BSc in wildlife biology, MA in GIS and Remote sensing and 15+ years experience. I've recently dabbled in aerial imagery, making orthomosaics, DSM/DEM, 3d models etc and think becoming a licensed Surveyor would fit well with my background and experience. Anyone have an idea of distance learning or a program through UH Hilo?

Unfortunately we don't have a surveying program at UH Hilo. We tried working on a program in the past, but it didn't follow through. We do hold workshops in Honolulu and have a bunch coming up in the following months. If you register as a member to the Hawaii Land Surveyors Association, you can attend these workshops for free or at a discounted member rate. We also invite non-members as well, but there's usually a cost for non-members. Visit our website www.hlsahawaii.org for more information!! Aloha! Christina
